Chasing your “DREAMS”

“IF YOU CAN DREAM IT, YOU CAN DO IT”.

Dreams – All of us have dreams. Almost all humans, all age groups have some sort of dreams.

They can be realistic, non-realistic, personal, professional, for you, for your family & friends, short term, long term & the list goes on.

dreams

So, what is you dream? And, what are you doing to make it come true?

Well, it is always said that:

“FOR DREAMS TO COME TRUE, THE FIRST THING YOU HAVE TO DO IS WAKE UP.”

Ofcourse, everyone try to put in the best effort to make the dream come true. The more passionate you are about your dream , the more dedication & effort you show to achieve it, to make it happen. But, everything is not in our control.

Sometimes, our destiny puts such circumstances in front of us that however hard we try, we are not able to make our dream come true. We have to let it go and compromise on something else.

Most effective examples of above case are seen in case of professional dreams. There are cases where kids are forced to choose / study the stream that their parents want them to. They are supposed to forbid their dream & choose the other path. It is not always family pressure, there are other circumstances also like not getting through the entrance exams, financial limitations etc. which forces the student to opt for some other course.

Now, the challenge is how well you compromise on the situation and fit yourself in alternate career.

How to cope up with the situation when you failed to chase your dream?

When you get your dream job, it’s your interest & passion that drives the work out of you and make you excel. You enjoy your work and put in your best.

But, when you need to settle down on some other career, work load seems to be a pressure to you. Even when you try, it becomes very difficult to understand and go to the core depth of subject. Your attitude of working is not accompanied with the sense of responsibility & accomplishment but with the attitude of working just for the sake of working. As a result, you are not able to give the best of your performance and in long run, it starts hindering your growth making you frustrated & dissatisfied.

It’s always best to chase your dreams & get what you desire. But, if not one shall also learn to get the best out of what they got. Always be positive in what you do & be strong enough to face the realities. Don’t keep on getting frustrated for what you have not got. Instead, try to make what you have got worthy by giving your dedication in that. And, who knows, if you try, you my probably start enjoying this new area & excel in that.

So, friends

IT’S A BLESSING OF GOD,

YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT,

BUT YOU CAN TRY TO ENJOY IT…!!!!”

Identifying Boundaries |-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|

BND-1

Boundary—As we all know is a dividing line, a border line that separates the two areas, a line that limits, restricts or controls movement from one side to other.

In our daily life we come across several such boundaries & these can broadly be classified as physical & imaginary. Physical boundaries are clearly visible to us & we all are very well aware of the fact that which ones we can cross and how?

But, what I want to focus here on are the “Imaginary” or “Invisible” boundaries. These are the ones which we cannot see but we need to identify them by feeling them.

B6

For instance, if we look at ourselves, we will realize that we have formed some boundaries around us. Our near and dear ones stand on one side of this & strangers & acquaintances stand on the other. In fact, there are several boundaries and depending on the level of intimacy we allow people to enter those boundaries.  Same goes, when we deal with others. Everyone has a well protected personal space & a defined distance that they want to maintain with a particular person. We need to judge this based on our relation. If we try to pass the undesired boundary/ line of limit i.e., if we try to move more close, we may appear to be interfering in their personal space. Also, if we try to maintain too much distance, it seems we don’t respect the other person’s closeness for us. In short, if we don’t identify the limits in a justified & desired manner, conflicts may arise.

B3

And now moving on to the most difficult of all boundaries….those boundaries which if not identified may land us in big troubles.

How to identify the faint boundary line between the following extremes (where one side of line is good & other is not):

Trust / Faith is Good….Blind Trust / Blind Faith is not…

Believing is good…Superstition is not..

Optimism is good… Illusion is not…

Confidence is good…Over-Confidence is not…

Taking risk is good…. Un-calculated risk is not…

Caring is good…Over-protection is not…

Showing concern is good…Interfering is not…

But, how shall I draw a boundary line between above…they are so near…yet so far… How can a normal human like me…draw a distinction line …?

Alarming ALARMS

alarming alarms

Trrinnnn Trrinnnn … Beep Beep…Blink Blink… – Hope this is what comes to your mind when you hear about Alarms.

Wake Up Alam, Fire Alarm, Emergency Alarms are one of those few alarms which alerts us when we listen/see them. We then either respond to them / ignore them. And we all know ignoring them may get us in trouble —- Getting late at office/college, getting caught in fire or emergency & we may land up paying a lot for our ignorance.

Alarms are there to avoid such critical/ troublesome situations, to get cautious & alert, to act & respond to them on time and to tackle them wisely.
Now, the question is –
Do all Alarms have these sound/ light effects which get attention easily?
Or, have u ever heard of “SILENT ALARMS” too?

Let’s move from the theoretical image of alarms to the practical image. Alarms is anything which passes on a signal to be cautious, to pay attention, to be alert, as something disturbing, abnormal, dangerous awaits us. With these in mind, we can conclude that they cannot be symbolized with sound & lights only.
They can be in the form of circumstances, in the form of experiences, in the form of instances & in the form of incidences faced by us in our day-to-day life. But, to listen to these & to see these… we don’t just need our ears & eyes … but the capability of understanding the unsaid & looking at the unseen. We need to observe & we need to react accordingly.

But, how to recognize such Alarms? How can we judge? Is it worth to be so judgmental? Is it fine to keep everything under the scanner & analyze each & every person for each & every act?
Answer is of course “NO”…you cannot see everything with doubt & suspicion. But, at the same time you cannot ignore anything that seems to disturb you, that warn you, that demands your attention.
Because alarms are for warning & if ignored we may land in big trouble.
So, would just like to conclude by saying that:

Never ever ignore any alarming situation.
Develop a good vision to analyze your circumstances.
Alarms are for responding not for ignoring.
So,Wake UP friends, Stay Alert & Stay Happy…!!
