GOD & ME , ME & YOU

 G1

Well, this is about relationship between GOD & ME. I was just thinking of various relationships we are bonded with.

The most unique of them all is the relation between GOD & ME. To discuss about its uniqueness, let me first elaborate on all other relations.

What we expect normally in any sort of relation?

–          The other person shall respect the relation the way I do.

–          The other person shall express it the way I do.

–          The other person shall accept it the way I do.

–          The other person shall talk, think, act & feel the way I do.

But, all of us are unique and have a different pattern to live life. We think different, we act different, and we feel different. There are some wise people who think beyond these lines and instead of binding by their own set of rules they believe in letting the other person stay free. There are no thumb rules for expressions and feelings. There are instances where people may not appear the way you want, but that does not means they don’t respect the relation. It is just that their ways are different.

For instance, there are children who stand by their parents & assure them they are with them at times of need. They give the commitment. But, there are some, who do not commit anything but are always there when required. So, path is different but end result is same. In both cases, parents are getting attention and support they need.

At times people fail to accept these differences and this is where conflicts arise. Now, before starting these conflicts just spend some time observing your relation with GOD.

–          We respect HIM

–          We offer our prayers to HIM

–          We talk to HIM

–          We show our dedication, commitment, trust & belief in HIM.

But, have you seen HIM? Have you got HIS response in the same pattern? Does HE listens and talks to you? Does HE show same dedication, commitment, trust & belief in you?

Answer 1: “NO”.

HE never communicates back. HE never responds to my answers. Without a direct dialogue between me & HIM, I am unable to decide if HE really has some relation with me or is it just an illusion?

Answer 2: “YES”.

But, HIS ways are different. I cannot see HIM but I can feel HIM. He does not respond in the same pattern but HE responds. HE listens, and answers, NOT in words, but in actions. If my feelings for HIM are true and pure, HE also responds back by trusting & believing me and giving me the best.

So, it’s all about our perception and about our faith in that particular relation. What I think is,

If the feelings are true & pure, if the destiny has decided to gift you a particular relation then time does not matter, distances does not matter.

We respect and worship GOD, and make our relation with HIM, which is without any boundaries despite of the fact that we are not able to see HIM or talk to HIM, just feel HIM. This may not happen in a day, but we all know if our feelings are pure, we can feel the experience of GOD listening to us, giving answers to us, and staying with us.

In a similar manner, if we respect and worship all other relations in this world, with true & pure feelings we can surely break all barriers and experience the divine happiness of being a blessed child, a blessed sibling, a blessed parent, a blessed spouse, a blessed cousin, a blessed uncle/aunt, a blessed friend …and the list goes on..

IF FEELINGS ARE PURE,

IF EMOTIONS ARE TRUE,

IF RESPECT IS REAL,

IF WORSHIP IS WITH DEVOTION,

IF YOU KEEP PATIENCE,

AND DESTINY IS WITH YOU,

A BEAUTIFUL, BLESSED RELATION,

IS SURELY AWAITING YOU…!!

MAY GOD BLESS YOU..!!!!!!

FAST – Why my GOD wants me to be hungry?

power-prayer-fasting

FAST, Vrata, Upvaas – Dictionary meaning specifies this as “Abstain from all or some kinds of food or drink, esp. as a religious observance”.

Most of the religions have this concept of keeping fast on some special days of religious significance. It is believed that we offer our devotion & respect to GOD by keeping these fasts. This in result develops a faith that GOD will listen to our prayers & will give us desired results.

There are several types of fasts—-Some allows eating selective food items, some allow eating only once, some allow eating without salt, & some are so hard that restricts drinking water also.

Now, does this mean that my GOD is pleased if I stay hungry & thirsty? This doesn’t seems to be true as I have always heard that GOD is kind. Why will then GOD listen to us when we keep fasts? Or is it a misconception created by humans themselves?

It is said that to attain GOD one needs to focus & concentrate. One needs to disassociate from worldly attractions & just think & feel the existence of GOD. One shall not have any desires and shall act thinking that every action is service of GOD. One shall not rejoice on success and cry on defeats as every success & defeat is also the will of GOD. But, most of the times we try to take ownership of what we do & we try to act the way we feel like. If we can control our senses & our feelings then we are on a path to understand and reach GOD.

Here is a small story to share, in which a saint tried to control his feelings & desires. He felt like eating sweets but he controlled himself & decided not to eat. He kept getting the urge to eat those sweets & he strongly fought against that feeling & didn’t eat. But, after lot of struggle it became very difficult for him to let go-of that feeling. So, he decided to eat. He was satisfied & his stomach was full. Still he kept on eating & eating. And in the end, he landed up vomiting & everything he ate was out. So, he finally succeeded in not letting his feeling or urge to eat sweets conquer him. He spitted out all he ate & questioned himself- “Do I still feel like eating sweets?” And, the answer was- “NO”.

So, while keeping fast and eating selective food items we are not just restricting ourselves on eating other things. We are in fact, trying to control our temptation & feeling to eat other items. When we eat once a day we are not just trying our capacity to stay hungry but we are trying to show our determination & dedication. When we stay thirsty whole day on the name of fast, we are not trying to show how difficult it is but we are actually trying to understand and believe how everything is so easy when GOD is with you. In all, we strengthen out trust in GOD & HIS trust in us. We develop a bond with GOD telling HIM that we can sacrifice all our desires; we can control all our temptations & feelings if our Almighty GOD is with us.

After every successful fast, I get that pleasure of seeing & feeling that GOD is with me. Thank you GOD for supporting me, guiding me, being with me and walking with me..!! 🙂

May GOD Bless you all..!!!!!

The Importance of: “I” Vs “V”

blog I V

What is “I”?….

Who am “I”?….

What “I” have done?….

What “I” can do?….

“I” is my existence…. “I” is my individuality….

“I” am myself….. “I” am unique….

“I” have been doing so many tasks in the past…. Tasks “I” did with my own hands and with my own “brains” … “I” am responsible for all of those…. “I” am there to take its credits & “I” am there to take its negatives…

“I” can do whatever “I” want…whenever “I” want….whichever way “I” want…

“I” have full control on myself & my thinking…

Above is the misconception that most of us have…the illusion in which we dwell…..But if “I” don’t do anything…why am “I” praised and why am “I” blamed….? Who is there behind me controlling all these actions..? Well,  “I” am just a puppet…who moves the way GOD wants me 2 move….It is “HE” who creates different circumstances……it is “HE” who infuses different thoughts in my Mind…..So, its always “WE” who are responsible for our actions….

Now, does that mean all credit & all blames of our deeds goes to “HIM” ? If yes, how & why are we expected to improve?

This is because human mind has the ability to control its senses…to give a direction to his thinking & his deeds…but in this course of action we should always remember the fact that we are supposed to make rightful efforts for our actions…..and leave its fruits on GOD…..We should surrender all the results on the wish of GOD….Be it positive or negative…..& just focus on our efforts to strive for following the right path…

Always remember that “I” represents “We”..

Sometimes “We” represent ourselves & wishes of “God”…

Sometimes “We” represent our family…

Sometimes “We” represent our friends…

Sometimes “We” represent our department…

Sometimes “We” represent our society…

Sometimes “We” represent our school/college/office…

Sometimes “We” represent our country…

And the few times when I feel that “I” represents “ME”…..those are the times when you surrender yourself to the attribute called “Ahankar” … “Ego”…. “ Excessive Pride” of your doings…. Of thinking that whatever is done by your hands is actually done by you….. The feeling which says.. “I” have done this…. And “I” am super than others in crowd… and yes…you are right in some aspect.

You may not be super…but you are really different …..For this feeling of “Ego”…. takes you away from group…away from your own people… and you stand alone…firmly & rigidly….

Leaving behind the power and flexibility of “We”…leaving behind the togetherness & belongingness…and leaving behind the world that is not just built by “You” and “Me” but by a special world called “We”…. !! 🙂

How LOUD Shall I …..????????

Image

How loud shall I speak for you to hear…??

Is it that you are not so near…?

Or my voice is not clear…?

Or is it that you never hear…?

How loud shall I talk…??

To the one who seems to hear the unspoken…

Who seems to listen the unsaid…

Who seems to feel the unmoved…

Is it illusion…. Or is it impatience…??

Are you too busy ….?

Or I am in a long queue…?

I know its not easy..

But for you its not difficult too…

I am looking here and there…

For the one who is everywhere..

How loud shall I speak to break the silence…??

Its been a long time of one way communication…

How long shall I wait…??

Though I hv full faith…

But its getting too late….

But this exam is for both of us…

U r testing my faith in U…

And I am testing ur faith in me…?

Let’s c who passes through this exam……????????????
